Permission was given for Royal Mer (FR) to wear a red hood to post.
Following the race, Patrick Wadge reported that he felt something was amiss after Netywell (FR) made a bad mistake jumping the third last fence and therefore he felt it prudent to pull up; the Veterinary Officer examined the gelding during routine testing and reported that Netywell (FR) was lame on its left hind.
The Veterinary Officer further reported that Findthetime (IRE), which was pulled up, had bled from the nose.
