Permission was given for All Ways Glamorous (GB) to wear a red hood to post and for Cloud King (GB) to go early and wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after interference inside the final half furlong, involving the winner, Honour Your Dreams (FR), ridden by Mason Paetel and All Ways Glamorous (GB), placed second, ridden by Gina Mangan.
Being a 7lb claiming apprentice, Paetel was offered the opportunity to be accompanied but declined.
The Stewards considered that the interference had not improved Honour Your Dreams (FR)’s placing as the gelding appeared to always be holding All Ways Glamorous (GB) and with the finishing distance between the two runners being half a length, the Stewards couldn’t be satisfied that All Ways Glamorous (GB) would have finished in front of Honour Your Dreams (FR) with an uninterrupted run.
The Stewards therefore ordered the placings to remain unaltered.
Paetel was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift right-handed taking All Ways Glamorous (GB) slightly off its intended line.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that All Ways Glamorous (GB), placed second, had bled from the nose.
