Permission was given for Monopolise (GB) to wear a red hood in the preliminaries, and for Enpassant (IRE) to be mounted in the chute.
The performance of Monopolise (GB), which started joint favourite but finished unplaced beaten 11¼ lengths, was considered.
The representative of Mark Loughnane explained that the gelding may have been unsuited by being trapped wide throughout on this occasion.
Their explanation was noted.
Approximately 1 furlong out, Chola Empire (GB), placed fourth, hung left-handed before being quickly corrected, causing Enpassant (IRE), placed third, to become tight for room when presented into a rapidly diminishing gap.
But after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, Daniel Muscutt reported that Al Ameen (IRE), unplaced, was denied a clear run approximately 1 furlong out and Sean Dylan Bowen reported that Chola Empire (GB), placed fourth, hung left-handed under pressure.
