Permission was given for Vitruvian Dawn (GB) and Alvesta (GB) to wear a red hood in the preliminaries.
An enquiry was held to consider interference on the first bend when Spitfire Bridge (GB), unplaced, ridden by Trevor Whelan, interfered with the winner, Sneaky Blinder (FR), ridden by David Probert.
Whelan was cautioned for careless riding as he had allowed his mount to drift right-handed without sufficient correction, causing Probert to take a slight check.
Approximately 6 furlongs out, Oyamal (GB), unplaced, ducked sharply left-handed away from the rail causing the rider to lose an iron for the remainder of the race.
But after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, Rhys Clutterbuck reported that Cosmic View (GB), unplaced, was slowly away; Hollie Doyle reported that James Park Woods (IRE), unplaced, was slowly into stride and George Buckell reported that Avarice (IRE), unplaced, hung left-handed.
