Permission was given for Smart Vision (GB) to go early to post wearing a red hood.
An enquiry was held to consider two pieces of interference approaching the home bend involving The Good Biscuit (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Warren Fentiman, Trilby (GB), unplaced, ridden by Jonathan England, The Green Man (IRE), unplaced, ridden by James Sullivan and Imperial Guard (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Daniel Tudhope.
In the first incident, the interference was found to be accidental as The Good Biscuit (GB) edged marginally left-handed carrying Trilby (GB) off its intended line, which in turn left Imperial Guard (IRE) awkwardly placed on heels and its rider needing to take a check.
In the second incident, the interference was found to be accidental as The Good Biscuit (GB) shifted marginally left- handed taking Trilby (GB) off its intended line which in turn, caused a weakening The Green Man (IRE) to become crowded for room against the rail.
