Sat, 19th Sep, 2026  I've just had a quick call with Kia on the phone, and he is over the moon. He says he can't believe his first jumps runner is a winner. I said, 'we will start as mean to go on!'. It is great. We have only had him a few weeks and, to be fair, all we have done is just school him and he loves it. He enjoys his jumping. It was a big ask for him to change stables, and change codes as well, and get his head in front so quickly. He's a lovely, tough horse and he has probably been having a hard enough time of it in the high grades on the Flat. I would imagine getting his head in front won't do him any harm. It is great to start off on the right note. I only just have him, but I'd be fairly sure the plan will be to stay over hurdles and get a good novice hurdle season out of him. Next summer, he is a horse that will definitely be more than capable of switching codes. He has won his maiden, so he's only got the novice bracket for this season. I'd say we will try and get as much as we can out of that. We have no time set in stone (over new premises) so, for the time being, we will concentrate on what we have got in Closutton first and I'm sure when the times comes, we will hopefully consolidate everything up there. After race at Dundalk Fri, 28th Feb, 2025 (1st)  David was very happy with him and he is going to improve plenty. He picked up an injury in the Derby and hasn't run since, so it is a great comeback. He had to give the weight away and it is a fair effort. Oh definitely (try 1m4f again) and eventually he could be a 1m6f horse. He'll go now for a Listed race in Naas (Devoy Stakes) in the second week of the Flat, it is a mile and two as well. He'll be even better on the turf. Adrian Murray

After race at Leopardstown Sun, 7th Apr, 2024 (1st)  We were on a mission today to see how we were going or where we were going to go next,. He kept finding for him. Twice during the race I thought he was done for and he kept coming back. I never thought I’d see the day where we would be competing in the same race as Aidan O’Brien. I was so near to packing it in a few years ago and It’s amazing the way things can turn around. The horses are very healthy and that is a big thing. He’ll be entered in all the big races now I suppose and we’ll see where we go. I’ll have to chat to Kia and Robson and see where they want to go. He came to us over the winter. Adrian Murray
