Formscan By John O'Riordan - The Karl Thornton-trained A YEAR OLDER(10) can record a second win at this venue. Off the mark here over hurdles in January, the eight-year-old subsequently scored over fences at Limerick. While he later disappointed when sent to Hexham, the son of Mamool is worth another chance at a track where his trainer does particularly well. He can also race off 3lb lower than his current chase rating. Although both career wins have come at Galway, the Paul Gilligan-trained Moonshine Girl shouldn't be ruled out. A wide margin winner at the western venue last time, as a mare in form she has to be a serious contender. Felicity Smoak is also worth of serious consideration for in-form trainer Paul Nolan.

He’s a good-looking horse, very correct. I got him cheap enough, five grand, but nobody had looked at the passport and when we got him home we discovered he was a four-year-old, not a three-year-old.
