Formscan By Tom Weekes - POSSUM showed improvement recently and can build on that showing. Although held by today’s rivals Pleased, Porters Corner and I Hope You Dance on her Curragh debut run in June, she belied her odds when finishing third at Roscommon three weeks ago. Then, she shaped like a stayer, so could be suited by somewhat easier ground conditions here. Porters Corner was narrowly beaten in a course-and-distance maiden at the summer festival, while Pleased finished ahead of Porters Corner in June but disappointed in that July race. Galway Hurdle-runner-up Thisistheway is clearly capable, but the seven-year-old mare was slowly away on her only previous race when leaving starting stalls. Zadawa has recent form and steps up in trip.
