The Ghaiyyath colt was no match for this weekend’s Dewhurst contender Darkness Falls when second in Leopardstown’s newly-established Golden Fleece Stakes over 1m1f, but he had a string of 100+ rated colts behind him. Even if he run a few pounds below his putative mark, that should be good enough. Jack Cleary stays on AW third Aachen with Wayne Lordan on stablemate Choctaw Nation, a Sea The Stars colt out of a Listed-placed 7f winner. Selosse is a half-brother to Green Impact, who won a Group 2 at Leopardstown over 1m at two, a race that was the forerunner of the Golden Fleece. Only 17-2 when beaten six lengths in a red-hot maiden at the Curragh, the Siyouni colt clearly has a fair bit of ability himself. %0A
