'He Has A Fine Book Of Rides' - Three Jockeys To Follow Across Ireland and the UK This Weekend It's a major weekend of jumps racing in store, with the November Meeting at Cheltenham in full swing and the Navan Racing Festival attracting a wave of quality performers across two days. We are taking a look at some jockeys that could be worth following across the weekend at home and abroad. Jack Kennedy Gordon Elliott's retained rider remains in Ireland for the weekend and little wonder with the likes of Found A Fifty and The Yellow Clay to look forward to on Saturday at Navan. The former tackles the Grade 2 Railway Bar Lismullen Hurdle on his seasonal return while his fellow Bective Stud-owned inmate is in following Fortria Chase - a red-hot contest also featuring the returning Champion Chase winner Marine Nationale, former Queen Mother hero Captain Guinness and Grade 1 winners Dinoblue and Solness. The likes of Kalypso'chance and Apples Jane could follow on Sunday for Kennedy and he'll be hoping to hand his boss another Troytown Chase win as Elliott goes for his eighth success in the feature race. Darragh O'Keeffe If Darragh O'Keeffe was under any pressure in his first season as successor to Rachael Blackmore as stable jockey for Henry de Bromhead, he's been hiding it well. He entered the weekend with a superb 28 per-cent strike-rate across recent weeks and has lots to look forward to across the coming 48 hours. At Cheltenham on Saturday his mounts include the exciting mare July Flower in the Paddy Power Arkle Challenge Trophy Trial Novices' Chase, as she looks to go 2-2 over fences, while later on he will partner the bang in-form Coming Up East for the Knockeen handler in the Paddy Power Gold Cup as he goes for a fourth successive win over fences, following his Listed Handicap Chase win at Killarney in August over 2m5f. He's rated 10lb higher now but is progressing and a mark of 142 is not prohibitive. At Navan on Sunday, O'Keefe could partner the likes of Walks In June, Lambay Island and Butch Cassidy for his boss. Harry Skelton Team Skelton are making an early-season charge in the British trainers' championship and success for trainer Dan bodes well for jockey Harry. The latter had a near 30 per-cent strike-rate from recent weeks as he rocked up for the start of the November Meeting at Cheltenham and he has a fine book of rides to look forward to in the Cotswolds this weekend. On Saturday they include Precious Man in the JCB Triumph Trial Juvenile Hurdle, Be Aware in the Paddy Power Arkle Challenge Trophy Trial Novices' Chase and Panic Attack in the Paddy Power Gold Cup on Saturday. On day three at Cheltenham, Skelton is scheduled to be on Royal Infantry in the 2m5f handicap hurdle, Divine Diva in the Listed Mares' Bumper, stable favourite Protektorat in the Oddschecker Handicap Chase and Mirabad in the Unibet Greatwood Handicap Hurdle.
