Maureen will run in the Etihad Airways-sponsored Irish 1000 Guineas on Sunday week.

The Holy Roman Emperor filly won the Fred Darling Stakes on her return as a three-year-old and proved her stamina by finishing strongly at Newmarket.

Fellow Hannon inmate Zurigha, who was arguably unlucky to finish fourth in the French 1000 Guineas, will return to France for the Prix de Sandringham.

"Maureen, who ran so well to finish on the heels of the places fillies in our 1000 Guineas, will go to the Curragh for the Irish equivalent," the Wiltshire handler told his website, www.richardhannonracing.co.uk.

"We have decided to take Zurigha back to France for the Prix de Sandringham at Chantilly.

"She ran a fabulous race to come from well off the pace and finish fourth in the French 1000, and Chantilly should suit her well."
