774 jog for jockeys The first ‘Jog For Jockeys’ event, aimed at raising money for the Injured Jockeys’ Fund took place earlier today, with 774 people competing at four different racecourses around the country. The event, which was promoted by celebrities Tracey Piggott and Eamonn Coughlan, saw 315 joggers turn up at Naas, 159 at Leopardstown, 160 at Cork, 90 at Galway and 50 turned up at Down Royal. An update on the total amount raised will be reported at a later date.
