A return after Christmas for Uxizandre Uxizandre has suffered a setback that connections hope will only keep him out until Christmas. The Alan King-trained seven-year-old provided Tony McCoy with his final winner at the Cheltenham Festival when making all the running in the Ryanair Chase. He subsequently suffered an injury that ruled him out of Aintree and he faces a further spell on the sidelines. Frank Berry, racing manager to owner JP McManus, said: "Hopefully it's nothing too serious. "It's nothing major, we don't think. We're hoping that he'll be back after Christmas."
