The world's first floodlit all-weather jumps track will be built in Ireland if a planning application gets the go ahead early next year.

On the day they were named as Ireland's Racecourse of the Year for 2013, officials at Dundalk have confirmed plans for a multi-million pound revolutionary jump circuit, complete with undersoil heating, which could stage racing as early as 2016.

The Chief Executive of Dundalk Stadium, Jim Martin, spoke to Mike Vince about the plans.
