Another winner for Crawford team at Wetherby Stuart Crawford's Fine Rightly (8-11 favourite) continued his fine run of form this winter with a no-nonsense victory at Wetherby. The six-year-old gelding secured his third win from four starts with a pretty classy display in the Watch On 3 Devices racinguk.com/anywhere Novices' Hurdle. Although no match for Layla Joan at Ayr last week, Fine Rightly was a cut above on his trip to the Yorkshire circuit, making most of the running under the trainer's brother, Steven, and hardly coming out of first gear to account for Templebraden by seven lengths. The winning rider said: "This looked a great opportunity on paper and one we thought was hard to pass up. He has been in great form at home but I wasn't expecting him to do it quite as easily as that. "You can put a line through his last run as we'd undercooked him and he probably needed it. "I think Gordon Elliott's horse is better than he's letting on but if she'd have been in that race today I'm sure we'd have given her more of a run. You can only beat what is in front of you and he couldn't have done it any better. "He'll be a proper chaser in time so anything he does over hurdles is just experience. "We never really look beyond today but we'll have a sit down and decide whether to step him up in class or not. "We'll take it one step at a time. I'd imagine he'll run again somewhere but these wins are just bonuses."
