Attendance and turnover up in Galway The Galway Festival of 2015 saw an increase in all three key categories of attendance, Tote and bookmaker betting compared to last year's meeting. The total attendance over the seven days was 140,114, an increase of just over 1,000 on last year. Betting with the Tote over the week was up about 9 per cent at over five and a half million euro, an increase of €455,504, while bookmakers turnover was up €295,892 compared to 2014.
