Ayr fixture gets green light This afternoon's meeting at Ayr will go ahead as scheduled after the track passed a morning inspection. With ground conditions described as heavy and more rain forecast, a precautionary inspection was called for 8am. However, the fixture was given the green light earlier than anticipated as despite being hit by 10 millimetres of rain in the last 24 hours, the track was passed fit for racing. There is also a meeting scheduled for Ayr on Tuesday. Today's Avondhu Foxhounds Point-to-Point has been cancelled due to snow and ice. The fixture has been rescheduled for Sat 17th Feb and original entries will stand. The Avondhu Point-to-Point is located in Knockanard, Fermoy, Co. Cork.
