Bad ground beat Big Time Trainer John Murphy reports Big Time none the worse for a trip to Baden-Baden last month when he failed to cope with testing ground conditions in a Group Three over six furlongs. The son of Kheleyf was a smart juvenile last year, twice filling the runner-up spot behind Sudirman in the Railway Stakes and the Group One Phoenix Stakes. He was also fifth to Kingman earlier this season in the Irish 2,000 Guineas. Murphy said: "The ground in Germany was horrible. "We decided to run but it was just against us. "He has an entry in the Coolmore Stud Home Of Champions Concorde Stakes at Tipperary on Sunday week (October 5) but he won't run. "We'll give him a break for another month or so before deciding where to go next."
