Baker thanks industry for its support Jockey George Baker has been "overwhelmed" by the show of support from within the racing industry as he recovers from a serious head injury. Baker, who won last season's St Leger at Doncaster aboard Harbour Law, suffered bleeding on the brain in February after he fell from a horse on the frozen lake track at St Moritz. He tweeted: " Overwhelmed by all the messages I've received. Thank u everyone who has wished me well. Lucky to be in an industry with such amazing support." Baker returned home from hospital in late April and said he was feeling "really positive" as he moves onto the next stage of his recovery at Oaksey House, in Lambourn, where he will receive treatment from a neurological physiotherapy team.
