Ballydoyle entries dominate Irish Guineas Aidan O`Brien-trained runners dominate the field for Saturday`s Entenmann`s Irish 2000 Guineas at the Curragh with eight of the 11 horses entered inmates of the Ballydoyle trainer`s yard.The list is headed by Sagitta 2000 Guineas hero Rock Of Gibralter who is bidding to become the first horse to complete the English/Irish Guineas double since Rodrigo De Triano in 1992.Also entered is Kentucky Derby runner Castle Gandolfo who finished 12th behind winner War Emblem and Century City who won the Mozart EBF Tetrach Stakes earlier in the month.Creekview, Della Francesca, Maderno, Nostradamus and Tendulkar complete the Ballydoyle contingent.John Gosden`s Foreign Accent is the only British representative while Dermot Weld`s Sights On Gold and John Oxx`s Ahsanabad complete the field.A total of 20 fillies have stood their ground for the Entenmann`s Irish 1000 Guineas on Sunday.Mick Channon`s Queen`s Logic will be bidding to gain some compensation after injury forced her out of the Sagitta 1000 Guineas at Newmarket.She heads the British challenge along with Zenda, winner of the Poule d`Essai des Pouliches, who has been supplemented at a cost of ?38,000.French filly Heat Haze, trained by Andre Fabre and Kevin Prendergast`s Wrong Key, who both finished behind Zenda at Longchamp are the other two supplementary entries for the one mile contest.Luca Cumani`s 1000 Guineas disappointment Gossamer is also set to run along with Snowfire from the John Dunlop yard, Sir Michael Stoute`s Guineas third Alasha and Red Rioja.O`Brien again holds a strong hand here and is set to have seven representatives - Alstemeria, Kournakova, Lahinch, Maryinsky, Paquita, Starbourne and leading Vodafone Oaks fancy Quarter Moon.She will be bidding to follow in the hoofprints of Imagine who won this race before going on to Oaks glory at Epsom.Recent winner Marionnaud represents Jim Bolger while Weld is triple-handed with Sun Season, Saranac Lake and Rum Charger.Prendergast also runs Miss Beabea in the Group One race.A field of 12 have been declared for the Group One Tattersalls Gold Cup on the same Sunday card.The five British entries are headed by the Marcus Tregoning-trained Nayef who was successful in the Dubai Sheema Classic on his last run.Barry Hills` Chancellor is set to run, along with Godolphin pair Exaltation and Tobougg and David Elsworth`s Indian Creek.Bach and Shoal Creek run for the O`Brien yard while Prendergast`s Rebelline, who beat champion juvenile Johannesburg on her first outing this season, also contests the one mile, two furlong event.The field is completed by Sadlers Wings from Willie Mullins` yard, Weld`s Diamond Trim, Lime Gardens from the Michael Grassick team and Luke Comer`s Chimes At Midnight.
