Berties aimed at Galway return Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle winner Berties Dream is on target to start his career over fences at Galway at the end of October. Paul Gilligan's seven-year-old produced a 33-1 surprise when winning the Grade One for staying hurdlers at the Cheltenham Festival. He has not run since the Festival due to his preference for soft ground and Gilligan has reiterated that there must be sufficient cut in the ground for him to turn up. "Berties Dream is very well, all is going well with him," said Gilligan. "He's going chasing this season and I'm looking at starting him off in a beginners chase at Galway at the end of the month. "We want rain for him, so I've got my fingers crossed we get some. "All he does is stay and gallop, he just outstayed them all at Cheltenham. "With a bit of luck we'll be heading for the RSA Chase with him."
