Board Looks Japan-Bound Ouija Board is to be aimed at the Japan Cup after narrowly failing to land back-to-back victories in the Breeders´ Cup Filly & Mare Turf. The four-year-old, owned by Lord Derby, was putting in her best work at the finish when beaten a length and a quarter by all-the-way winner Intercontinental at Belmont Park. Winner of the Filly & Mare Turf as well as the English and Irish Oaks last season, Ouija Board could continue on her travels for the Japan Cup on November 27, with the Hong Kong Cup two weeks later also a possibility. 'If everything is OK she´ll go for the Japan Cup. After that we´ll have to wait and see,' said trainer Ed Dunlop. 'We were very proud of her performance. She´s come out of the race very well and ate up.'(C) PA Sport
