Bolger hoping for Pleascach return this year Jim Bolger is hopeful his Classic-winning filly Pleascach will return to action before the end of the season. The daughter of Teofilo claimed her third win from her first five starts when triumphing in last season's Irish 1,000 Guineas at the Curragh. She was narrowly beaten in the Ribblesdale at Royal Ascot before finishing fifth in the Pretty Polly Stakes, but she regained winning ways and claimed a second Group One in the Yorkshire Oaks. Pleascach has not been seen in competitive action since finishing fourth behind the brilliant Golden Horn in the Irish Champion Stakes at Leopardstown last September, but is closing in on a comeback. Bolger said: "I hope to have her back by September. She's had a few little setbacks."
