Booster On Target For Sandown Rooster Booster is primed to make a return to action in the Stan James Christmas Hurdle at Sandown on Boxing Day. The 2003 Champion Hurdle winner was last seen finishing 14th in the Greatwood Handicap Hurdle in November when he looked to have every chance until weakening after jumping the third flight from home. The 11-year-old is reportedly none the worst for that below-par display, with Hobbs identifying the extended two-mile Sandown contest as the race to get the gelding back on track. 'He will probably be running in the Christmas Hurdle at Sandown I should think,' said Hobbs.
