Bravais and Hurricane Ivor dominated in the Racing Again At Tipperary On May 8th Race, with the Ger Lyons-trained former ultimately coming out on top.

A dual winner in France and third in a Group 2 at Longchamp in September of 2023, the Juddmonte-owned-victor was eighth on his Irish debut at Naas last month.

Sent off an easy to back 15/2 chance today (10/3 early), the Frankel five-year-old raced in second under Colin Keane and was ridden to challenge with a furlong and a half to go.

Eventually wearing down the front-running Hurricane Ivor inside the final 100 yards, there was three-quarters of a length between them at the line.

The runner-up was returned at 5/1 under Shane Foley for Jessica Harrington, while Kortez Bay (5/6f from 2s early) could only manage a disappointing fourth.

"It is great that Juddmonte give us these horses and it is a pleasure to train them. We are only finding out about this horse and he stripped fitter today," assistant trainer Shane Lyons reflected.

"He could be a right horse to come back here for races likes the Concorde Stakes and we will enjoy him for the summer.

"He will be a nice fun horse and Colin said he appreciated that ground, but wouldn't want too much firm in it. Seven (furlongs) to a mile is ideal for him.

"We got him at the turn of the year, having been sore last year. He had time out, we were delighted to get him and he is a very genuine, likeable horse. We love getting horses in these colours."
