The Shane Broderick trained Britannicus broke his maiden status on the 7th time of asking when he landed The 'Tetratema' ? Son Of The Tetrarch Maiden Hurdle under Johnny Levins in the colours of Seamus Mannion.
Levins was always prominent on the Danehill Dancer gelding, improved to lead travelling well after 2 out and kept on well to hold off the fast finishing 1/1 money favourite Wickham Street of Tommy Stacks.
"I feel sorry for Aideen Rigney who only sold the horse last Tuesday", said Levins afterwards.
