Assistant trainer to his partner Natalia Lupini, Craig Bryson gave an update on Eleven A and Final Melody at Dundalk on Wednesday.

Owned by former National Hunt riders Bryan Cooper and Ben Dalton, along with Bryson, the former won on his second start at Down Royal, finishing fifth of eight in the Listed Star Appeal Stakes at Dundalk recently.

Eleven A sold to Australia

"He was sold on Tuesday (at sales) and is away to Australia," Bryson commented.

"The lads that are in him are trading lads. Some of these horses we would love to keep in the yard and race next year, but the show has to keep rolling on with the lads.

"When the owners are looking to trade, we trade."

Final Melody finding her form

While failing to make an impact in maiden company, Final Melody has since turned a corner, filling the runner-up spot on her last three starts.

Beaten by just half-a-length at Dundalk on Friday last, the Starman bay is now set for a return to the all-weather venue.

Some of these horses we would love to keep in the yard and race next year, but the show has to keep rolling on with the lads.

"She has got her act together a wee bit. She wasn't very straightforward early on and she seems to have got more professional," Bryson commented.

"She might get six furlongs, she finished out very well on Friday and galloped to the line.

"Early days, she wouldn't settle early on but now she is settling and racing properly.

"We will give her another go here. There's another five (furlong race) here next week and we will see what there is over six."
