Buchanan signs off Peter Buchanan will have his last rides in Britain as he partners four horses at Perth today. Ulsterman Buchanan, 37, has enjoyed a fruitful association with trainer Lucinda Russell, partnering the likes of the ever-popular Lie Forrit, Silver By Nature and Bold Sir Brian for the Arlary handler. The rider will team up with Russell's The Cobble Swayne and Settledoutofcourt at Perth this afternoon, but his final ride will come aboard Stuart Crawford's River Dun in the GS Group Standard Open National Hunt Flat Race. His agent Paul Brierley tweeted: "Peter Buchanan takes his last UK rides today and he will hang his boots up, fingers crossed we can get a winner from the four rides."
