Buratino ready for Curragh raid Buratino heads a field of eight in the Keeneland Phoenix Stakes at the Curragh on Sunday. Mark Johnston's impressive Coventry Stakes winner will be having his seventh outing of a busy campaign but his improvement showed no signs of stopping at Ascot. Johnston also has a second string to his bow in Listed winner Sixth Sense. Aidan O'Brien's Air Force Blue, a two-length second to Buratino in the Coventry, renews rivalry. O'Brien has claimed seven of the last 10 runnings of the Group One and also saddles Railway Stakes scorer Painted Cliffs and Washington DC, winner of the Windsor Castle at Ascot. Jessica Harrington's Rockaway Valley, second in the Railway Stakes, and the Gay Kelleway-trained Zebstar have also been declared. The only filly in the field is David Wachman's Most Beautiful, a Group Three winner.
