Burke delighted to be back in action Jockey Johnny Burke expressed relief after he returned to the saddle at Tipperary on Thursday evening. The Grade One-winning jumps rider has been besieged by injury and has spent four months on the sidelines after a fall at Naas last February. Burke's shoulder injury has, however, finally healed and he made his comeback with two mounts at Tipperary. The jockey said: "I've been doing plenty of running and riding out and my dad's been keeping me busy, too. "It's been a long old road so it's great to be back." Burke is back in the saddle again at Limerick tomorrow, where he rides the Pat Flynn-trained Dixie Highway in division one of the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Handicap Hurdle.
