CLASSIC HEROINE KAZZIA RETIRED Dual Classic heroine Kazzia has been retired by Godolphin.The German-bred filly, who will be based at Dalham Hall Stud, beat Snowfire by a neck to land a brave success in the Sagitta 1000 Guineas at Newmarket in May.And she then followed up with an equally gutsy half-length triumph from Quarter Moon in the Vodafone Oaks at Epsom in June on testing ground.She met defeat for the first time in the Aston Upthorpe Yorkshire Oaks but bounced back with victory in the Flower Bowl at Belmont and was then only beaten two lengths when sixth in the Breeders` Cup Filly & Mare Turf on her final start.
