The 7yo son of Bach sprang a 20/1 surprise on his first start after a long absence at Ffos Las in April and followed that up with two wins from his four starts since, at both Sligo and Roscommon. His last win at Roscommon earlier in the month was particularly impressive as he blitzed his rivals winning easily by five lengths. Davy Condon who rode him to victory last time out will again take the ride and carrying only 10-11 here a big run can be expected from him in this two mile, six furlong contest. Callaghan & Condon team up again thirty five minutes later with Louisiana Gift in a Handicap Hurdle over two miles. This 4yo gelding was backed from 66/1 into 5/1 on his penultimate start at Punchestown but ultimately disappointed finishing fourteenth behind Kitty's Lord.
