Caolaneoin a Dan Moore possible Caolaneoin could head for the Dan Moore Memorial Handicap Chase at Fairyhouse on January 15 following his decent run at Leopardstown over Christmas. Trainer Shane Nolan felt things did not Caolaneoin's way when the 11-year-old was unplaced behind Lake Takapuna in a two-mile-one-furlong handicap chase, in which he was badly hampered under deputy jockey Mark Enright. "Caolaneoin is in good form," said the County Kildare handler. "He probably just didn't get a bit of luck. It was unfortunate that Robbie Colgan got stood down. "He knows the horse well, and he is a horse that you'd need to know as he can be a difficult ride. "Mark gave him a good ride, though. He ran well and wasn't beaten too far. "He might run now in Fairyhouse in the Dan Moore. We will see closer to the time how he is in the weights. "If he doesn't go there he will go to Leopardstown towards the end of the month."
