Captain Sidelined For Season Arkle Challenge Trophy prospect Glenfinn Captain has been ruled out of the Cheltenham Festival after suffering from a bout of colic.Just a day after Rhinestone Cowboy was diagnosed with the equine illness, so was Tom Taaffe's big hope, although his case appears more serious as he has undergone surgery.Around a 16-1 shot for the Festival, last season's smart hurdler had made a smooth transition to fences, winning easily at Fairyhouse in October.On his last start, he was leading the Durkan New Homes Novice Chase when falling four from home.Taaffe said: 'He has got colic and was operated on early on Saturday morning.'He will be out for the year, but hopefully he will be back ? the signs are good so far anyway.'(C) PA Sport
