Carberry Sidelined Until Thursday Paul Carberry, stood down for the rest of the day after being kicked at Gowran Park on Saturday, was forced to miss yesterday`s Navan meeting as well and he may not resume until Clonmel on Thursday. Carberry was hurt when Montys Music slipped up on the bend turning out of the back straight in the Thomas M. Byrne & Sons Auctioneers (Carlow) Handicap Hurdle and brought down Steel Band. He said on Sunday: 'I was sandwiched and was kicked on the back of my legs. I'm sore on the tendons behind my ankles and below the back of the knees. I was kicked in the same place in a fall at Thurles on Thursday. 'I rode out this morning and I didn't feel good so I thought there was no point in riding at Navan. I shouldn't be out too long. Limerick on Wednesday might come too soon but hopefully I will be alright by Thursday.' Carberry, champion jockey last season, has ridden 88 winners so far this term and has a commanding lead in the table over former champions Barry Geraghty and Ruby Walsh.
