Carberry hopes to be back for Festival Paul Carberry is targeting a return to action at the Cheltenham Festival in March after he suffered a broken leg at Listowel last month. The veteran jumps jockey was riding Rich Coast for his boss Noel Meade in the Allman Contracts Limited Beginners Chase when they came down at the first fence. Carberry underwent an operation on a broken femur and is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines. Asked when he could make his comeback, the 41-year-old told At The Races: "It could be Cheltenham or just before. "They're saying six months, so that's about March time. "It seems to be getting better. It's just about having the patience and letting it heal and trying not to do too much. "I'm going back in two weeks to get an X-ray. It should be OK."
