Carberry to have scan on shoulder Paul Carberry expects to know a little more about the extent of his recent injury after an assessment on Tuesday. Carberry was ruled out of the Galway Festival when he suffered a fracture to his left shoulder blade from a fall in a handicap hurdle at Killarney during the middle of July. The 38-year-old, who expected to be ruled out for between four and six weeks, is in a positive frame of mind but said: "The shoulder itself's not too bad but I might have a bit of muscle damage and I'm going to go in for an MRI scan tomorrow. "It had been getting a bit sore and the physiotherapist thought it would be a good idea to have a scan after I had some treatment. "I've been busy enough, as I've got 11 horses at home that have come from the sales, and I've been feeling a bit better in the last few days."
