Casey has ankle operation Jockey David Casey has undergone an operation on his broken ankle today. He sustained the injury in a fall from Roman Flight when the gelding attempted to refuse at the first flight of the three-year-old maiden hurdle at Roscommon on Tuesday evening. Casey is expected to be out of action for approximately six weeks. He has ridden nine winners in the current campaign which started on May 8th.
