Cee Bee to reappear before Christmas

Eddie Harty is hoping his Cheltenham Festival winner Captain Cee Bee will be back in action in the next couple of months.

The Supreme Novices' Hurdle victor was sidelined after being pulled up at Aintree in early April 2008, but Harty reports the seven-year-old to be in fine shape and on course to make his chasing debut.

"The Captain has been back for a while. He's in great form and the leg problem he had has, touch wood, not given him any problems," the Curragh trainer told At The Races.

"I don't know when we'll see him on the track but we schooled him the other day over fences and he was perfect.

"I won't hazard a guess where, but he'll run well before Christmas. There's a lot to be excited about for the season ahead."
