Champion Kennedy collects on spare ride for Harrington Champion jockey Jack Kennedy scored on a spare ride for trainer Jessica Harrington today, landing Fairyhouse’s Group Discounts For Winter Festival General Admission Rated Hurdle on Quinta Do Lago (7/4f). Dual champion Kennedy was allowed off Generous Risk, for his retained trainer Gordon Elliott, in the race and on Galiway-sired Quinta Do Lago, produced the four-year-old to lead after the second-last before scoring by four lengths from Sageborough . Generous Risk finished fourth. Harrington commented “he does nothing in his races and Jack was saying a bigger field would suit him better because he'd have horses to gallop with. He was just looking at everything and is big bone idle. “There is a four-year-old's only race in France which we might look at now and he'll probably end up in a Pertemps Qualifier somewhere.
