Channon Out Of Luck In France Mick Channon was denied a big-race victory in France when Yasoodd was demoted to fourth place after being first past the post in the Prix La Rochette at Longchamp.The two-year-old colt, ridden by Ted Durcan, lost the Group Three race following an inquiry after coming home ahead of the Andre Fabre-trained Multiplex, the odds-on favourite.Yasood was demoted to fourth with Multiplex keeping his unbeaten record. Attima was promoted to second and Kakofonic third.Winning rider Christophe Soumillon needed no official help to bag a Group Three double on another hot favourite, the Alain de Royer-Dupre-trained Shamdala, in the Prix de Lutece.Winning owner the Aga Khan was also responsible for runner-up Fraloga.Soumillon, who was completing a treble on the day, said: 'I hope she stays in training as a four-year-old because she is an improving filly and will grow and definitely deserves a Group One victory.'The other Group Three on the card, the Prix du Pin, went to Coupe de Champ who landed her second Group success for both herself and trainer Patrick Tual.Winning jockey Stephane Pasquier said: 'I probably went too early, earlier than Patrick wanted but I found a gap and she showed great acceleration so that eased my conscience.'?
