Chris & Menorah none the worse after Exeter Captain Chris and Menorah are reported to be none the worse for their high-profile exits at Exeter yesterday. Both horses, trained by Philip Hobbs, unseated jockey Richard Johnson after making bad mistakes in their respective races. Captain Chris was holding every chance when he hit the top of the final fence in the Haldon Gold Cup. Menorah looked to be all set to make a winning debut over fences when he made a mess of the second-last in the Betfred Goals Galore Novices' Chase. "We actually ended up with four unseated, or fallers, yesterday, but they are all absolutely fine. I'm glad at least we had a winner (Allthekingshorses)," Hobbs' wife Sarah told At The Races.
