Christmas Target For Lingo Smurfit Champion Hurdle hope Lingo is set to make his next appearance in the Stan James Christmas Hurdle at Sandown on Boxing Day. Jonjo O´Neill´s six-year-old shot to prominence for the blue riband when slamming a useful field to win the Greatwood Hurdle last month. 'Lingo is in good form, is very well and he will probably go to Sandown for the Christmas Hurdle,' said owner JP McManus´ racing manager Frank Berry. Lingo´s Greatwood win was his first start since beating Garde Champetre in the Grade One Tolworth Hurdle at Sandown back in January 2004. The winner of three of his four starts over timber is a general 7-1 chance to take the Champion Hurdle on March 14. ? PA Sport
