Cisterna (8/1) pulverised his 13 rivals in the second split of the Roscommon Racecourse On Facebook Handicap as he sluiced up by five lengths.

The front-running gelding was breezing away into the straight for Jimmy Dalton and gradually all of the opposition began to come off the bridle.

He readily asserted over a furlong from home and powered clear in the closing stages for a decisive victory. Big Bill , the 7/2 favourite, couldn't lay a glove on him but did finish second, a length and a half in front of Movin And Groovin (9/1).

Andy Slattery said: “We fancied him going to Listowel (unplaced), but he got hit by a railing that day.

“He probably won too far. He's in again next Monday at Gowran in a 0-60 and I don't think he'll be running in that.

“He's in an online sale later on and he's a fun horse.

“He jumped out there today and got his own way, daylight, and an ease in the ground.

“He's won two here now for the lads (Alltheblues Syndicate). They are local and they are a happy bunch.”
