Tomorrow's scheduled meeting at Clonmel is the latest to fall victim to the recent inclement weather.

Following 7mm of rain since midday yesterday parts of the course at Powerstown Park are unfit for racing and, with further heavy rain forecast, officials took the decision to cancel the meeting which featured the Grade 3 Surehaul Mercedes-Benz Novice Hurdle.

The recent wet and windy period of weather has also claimed meetings this week at Punchestown and Fairyhouse.

The Punchestown meeting that includes the €100,000 BoyleSports Grand National Trial Handicap Chase has been rescheduled for next Tuesday (February 18), while the meeting at Fairyhouse originally fixed for today will now be run on Monday February 24.

The weather outlook is unsettled for the remainder of the week with a Status Yellow wind warning currently in place and a mix of rain, sleet or snow.

Storm Dennis is forecast to bring heavy rain and high winds this weekend.
