Cloy George Bid In Doubt

Hi Cloy's participation in the Stan James King George VI Chase at Kempton is in the balance.

Michael Hourigan's nine-year-old, as low as 12-1 for the St Stephen's Day highlight, suffered a foot injury on Monday.

Hi Cloy also holds an entry in the Paddy Power Dial-A-Bet Chase at Leopardstown on December 27 but will miss both engagements if he does not prove his fitness in time.

'Hi Cloy bruised a foot this morning and we are waiting for the abscess to break,' Hourigan told the Racing Post.

'It will be Wednesday or Thursday before we'll know what the story is.

'Kempton has been the plan and is the plan but we'll have to wait and see what happens.

'The Leopardstown race would mean him not having to travel to England before Christmas but just now, everything is up in the air.'
