Cobra Queen brings up de Bromhead's double A swift, fluent jump over two out was the winning of the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares Handicap Hurdle for Cobra Queen (6/1). She was able to assert there and Alan O'Sullivan had enough in the tank on the run-in to keep her up to her work to hold Run For The Border (17/2). Walkingmayotomilan (15/2) was another three and a half lengths back in third. Cobra Queen gave Henry de Bromhead a double on the card following The Dotski's victory in race two. O'Sullivan said: "She changed her legs a bit early on, and I was thinking the ground might be a bit quick for her, but the further she went, the better she went. "She got a bit lonely in front, but did it well. "It's my first ride for Henry as a professional, he put me on Waterford Whispers in the Kim Muir in March, and I've started going into his yard a couple of days a week. "I'm getting plenty of opportunities and my agent Ken Whelan is doing a great job." Owner Matt Fitzgerald added: "She ran well in Downpatrick and Darragh O'Keeffe felt she'd be better off going back over fences, but we said we'd come here first, because she won this last year.
