Collins wins opener Artic from the Tracey Collins stable made it a winning debut when landing the opening race of the Bellewstown Festival, The Irish Stallion EBF Maiden under Pat Shanahan. Winning trainer Collins said afterwards, “I think he’s a very smart horse, we have always thought an awful lot of him. It was big ask of him to come out and win on his first trip away from home and I think he’ll improve a lot from the run. If he improves the way I think he’ll improve we will possibly go for a 5f Listed Race in the Curragh in a few weeks time.”
