Cheltenham Gold Cup hero Coneygree is among 14 entries for the Colin Parker Memorial Intermediate Chase at Carlisle on Sunday.

The Mark Bradstock-trained eight-year-old is qualified for this race as he is a second-season chaser having won the Gold Cup as a novice last term.

Saphir Du Rheu, winner of the Mildmay Novice Chase after finishing second in the Ladbrokes World Hurdle, is one of three possibles from the Paul Nicholls stable.

The Ditcheat handler also has classy types Ptit Zig and Virak in the mix.

Neil Mulholland has put in his exciting prospect The Young Master, while the Tom George-trained God's Own and Oliver Sherwood's Puffin Billy catch the eye.

George will also consider alternative targets as the starting point for God's Own.

"It's up in the air where he goes for his first start," said the Slad handler.

"There's a race at Kempton the following day, a graduation chase, or he could go back for the Haldon Gold Cup. We haven't decided yet," said the Slad handler.

"We'll wait and see what the other entries are and see what's what.

"It depends what the weights look like in the Haldon Gold Cup and what the entries look like as well.

"I'm delighted with him. We're giving him a trip away on Tuesday. He's had one already since he's been back in and we'll give him one more to put him right."

Completing the entries are Cold March, Enchanted Garden, Grate Fella, Horizontal Speed, Midnight Belle, Ned Stark and Wakanda.
