Cooper feels Secret has Irish National hope Bryan Cooper believes No Secrets could be a live contender for the Boylesports Irish Grand National at Fairyhouse. The 11-year-old claimed a veterans' event at Navan last Sunday on his first start for Tony Martin after transferring from the care of David Pipe. No Secrets had not got his head in front since winning at Wetherby back in February 2013, but Cooper is keen on his chance of staying glory following their three-quarter-length victory over Letter Of Credit. He told his Racing FX blog: "It was No Secrets' first start for Tony Martin in the veterans' handicap chase and it was great to get a win first time out. He's entered in a few races at Cheltenham, but I'm not sure if he'll go there as it might come a bit quick. "He gave me a good feel and he looks tailor-made for the big staying handicap chases. He could be one for the Irish Grand National."
